Tom took the Jeep to work today, so Jack and I are hunkered down here at home. The snow is beautiful at our house and hasn't let up all day long. After his lunch, I got Jack all bundled up and ready for his first venture out into the snow. We actually went up the street to Ace first and attempted to purchase a sled. Apparently everyone else in the neighborhood had the same idea because they were all sold out! No matter, though, we simply came back home and checked out the snow in the front yard. Jack was pretty curious about it, and kept sticking his face into the snow. The only thing he didn't like were his mittens-he kept wiggling his hands out of them. After we had played for a while, I put Jack in the jogging stroller and the three of us (Monty included) went down to the park to watch the kids sled. Jack was full of "ooohs" as he watched the kids slide down the hill.
