It is now official. On July 26, 2008 at 4:45pm, by brother married the woman of his dreams, Joanna Plichta. The ceremony was held in the chapel at Villa Academy. The ceremony was followed by a gorgeous reception at Newcastle. But, I'm getting ahead of myself. The day started much earlier than that, and I've got the pictures to document all that happened that day as they prepared to stand in that chapel and commit their lives to one another.
As a bridesmaid, I had the privilege of getting ready with Joanna in the bridal suite at Newcastle. We all helped one another primp and perfect our hair and makeup, so that we would look our best for pictures. Joanna looked absolutely stunning in her gown. We kept calling her Barbie all day long!
After she and my brother saw each other for the first time, it was time for pictures, pictures, and more pictures!
Jack looked pretty dapper in his suit. The jacket only lasted for pictures, but he wore the pants, shirt, tie, and vest the entire evening. Honestly, nothing phases the little guy!
Here are some pictures of the evening. It was such a fun evening, we'll have to do it again! And we will in Poland two weeks from now! (Sidenote: Matt and Joanna are having another reception in Poland on August 15th. Our family is traveling there to celebrate with them and all of their family and friends who live there.)
Matt and Joanna's wedding was amazing. It was a beautiful event for two beautiful people. May they always work hard at their marriage so that they will always be as happy as they were on that day. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Boisen!
