Polska Part V: Gdynia

Poland 110 Poland 121

On Monday we spent the day in Gdynia. It is another port city and one of the Tri Cities (Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot). It has a beautiful beach and a great boardwalk that follows the beach.  Tom and Jack couldn't resist the beach.  I took the opportunity to capture some great shots as they played together in the Baltic Sea.

On our way home from Gdynia, the Plichta's took us to, what can only be described as, a bizarrely random collection of memorabilia.  In this place (I'm not even sure what it was called) we got to see the longest piece of cut timber, a house brought back from Siberia, and an upside down house. Jack loved the cow statue--cows never cease to cause Jack to laugh. Wacky as it all was, these are the kinds of adventures that we would never have experienced had we visited Poland on our own.

Here are my parents really embracing the culture of Poland. Great look for them, isn't it?
