Coeur d’Alene

Although our family vacation was two weeks ago, I am just now getting around to posting pictures. BUT, I have good reason—our camera deleted a good portion of our pictures from vacation, so I have had to gather pictures from my parents. We had a fantastic time, as you’ll see from the pictures. I’ll let the pictures tell the story of our time in Coeur d’Alene…

We spent a lot of time at the public beach in town building sand castles.

Well, Jack built castles. Emmett mostly destroyed them and managed to get sand all over himself!

On our way home from the beach one day, the fire department by our cabin was having an open house and the boys got to check out all of the fire equipment.

We even found a spray park for the boys to play in!

Jack and Tom took the kayak out for a spin in the bay. Jack even helped paddle.

But the bulk of our days were spent out on the water in the boat. Both Jack and Emmett enjoyed swimming off the boat.

Jack loved “pushing” Boppa into the water and floating on the noodle.

Emmett catches up on some sleep in Auntie Joanna’s arms. Jack warms up after a hard swim.

The boys also spent lots of time at the little beach in front of our cabin. Both boys loved playing with the old Tonka trucks that were my dad and uncle’s growing up.

The boys loved spending time with their Uncle Matt.

No vacation is complete without ice cream. Jack attacks his Oreo cookie ice cream with vigor, while Emmett enjoys huckleberry.

Great week. We LOVE our family!
