Jack took his first steps. Another milestone. This one is a biggie. It means that he is no longer a little baby. He's now a little boy. How does it happen so quickly?
It has been a complete joy to watch him as he experiments with walking. He's not real confident yet, but he willingly walks from one person into the arms of another. Screaming with delight the whole way, of course. Yesterday he was standing in the kitchen and let go of his truck and walked a few steps over to the dishwasher where there was an interesting knob for him to turn. This walk, without prompting from us, was new for him.
He is learning like crazy these days. No wonder he absolutely passes out during his naps. Soon he'll be running around our house, able to get into everything. Look out world, here comes Jack!
