Yet another week has flown by and our little Jack continues to change and grow. He now has his two top teeth (four teeth total) and is madly crawling or cruising everywhere. Tom and I are quickly realizing that he is no longer a baby, but a little boy. He now loves to push cars, trucks, and pretty much anything he can get a hold of across the floor. He even makes car noises as he does it.
We spent this past weekend with Tom's parents. We went to their house Saturday afternoon and spent the afternoon watching football and being lazy. We had hopes that the Huskies might actually win a game, but they didn't. It's been a long season. On Sunday we went to the Bainbridge Aquatic Center to go swimming. It is really cool. It has a kiddie pool, a shallow area with water fountains, and a lazy river. It will definitely be a fun place to visit as Jack gets older. Around 3:00, Tom and I headed home...sans Jack. Jack spent the night with his grandparents. It was his very first time spending the night away from home without us. The grandparents said he had a great time!
With our child-free night, Tom and I had a goal to go to dinner somewhere that we wouldn't be able to go if we were with Jack. We settled on a tapas restaurant in Ballard called Ocho. We had great food and conversation. It was such a fun little evening just the two of us.
These are a few pictures from an adventure out to Fall City in search of pumpkin patches from two weekends ago. Unfortunately, we went the day after Halloween. We quickly discovered that pumpkin patches shut down as soon as Halloween is over. We still had fun driving through the beautiful foliage.
